Formed in Brooklyn in 2002, the original lineup featured multiple vocalists with keyboardist Erika Forster, guitarists Joseph Jurewicz and George Wilson, drummer Doug Marvin, and bassist D.J. Boudreau. Erika Forster later departed to join Au Revoir Simone before the release of "Hallelujah Sirens."
