The Cutting Garden was written throughout 2021, and assembled in their respective homes in isolation, eventually finished at Trout Recording in Brooklyn in the fall. Each of these songs lives in its own dimension, but there’s a symbiosis between them. “The EP is titled The Cutting Garden because we love the idea of a garden filled with beautiful flowers, grown solely for the purpose of being cut one day. There’s a surreal yet ordered aspect to such a natural place, and I think these songs share a similar vibe.”
