Nicole recently announced her debut solo album Paper Suit out June 7th on digital, cassette, and LP with singles Tommie and Supernatural Babe.
Today she is sharing a beautiful, pop-psych ballad, And After All . It features Doug Gillard (Guided by Voices) on lead guitar, Julia Fader (Ava Luna) on drums, Joe Boyer (formerly Cloud Nothings) on keys and Jacob Sloan (TPOBPAH) on bass.
Nicole says: "And After All" is about reaching a level of appreciation for someone who you've loved in the past who may not be in your life anymore. I know which personal relationships I'm using as reference, but it's really up to the listener to decide if that's a former romantic partner, estranged parent, deceased family member, toxic friendship or any number of other complicated relationships.
